Herd House operates an approved health and safety policy. We have an excellent record of safety at the Riding School.
Privacy Policy.
All equipment supplied is regularly checked and meets all recommended safety standards where applicable.
Health and safety guidelines are prominently displayed and strictly adhered to at all times, and procedures are in place to ensure minimum risk to all users of Herd House.
All our staff and trainees are given training in safety procedures including what to do in the event of fire or accident.
An incident book is kept on site for recording of minor accidents or falls by staff, trainees and clients.
All our horses and ponies are proven schoolmasters, schooled to the highest levels and carefully matched to the riders ability. You can learn more about individual horses and ponies kept at Herd House on the ‘Our Horses’ page.

Please remember that riding is a risk sport, and all clients are advised to take out personal accident insurance to protect themselves in the event of any accident or fall.
